    British P.O. 1865: India ½ a. pale blue in a horizontal pair and single 1 a. brown (Gi 55+58) used on 1865 underpaid cover to Mauritius endorsed "Pr. Mata Bula via Tranquebar", tied by "PONDICHERRY / 111" duplex (Sept 28). Reverse with Cuddalore datestamp of transit (Sept 29), Tranquebar transit cds (Oct 6) and Mauritius arrival cds (Nov 22) in blue where charged due with fine "6d. / TO PAY" in blue. A scarce and fine cover.
