    British P.O. 1855: India ½ a. pale blue, Die III (Gi 8), a fine four margined example used on 1856 entire letter from Pondichery to Madras tied by dotted lozenge in black. Franked at ½ anna for ¼ tola weight (2½ - 3 grams), reverse with framed "PONDICHERY / Paid" datestamp (Feb 25) with Madras 'GPO' arrival of the following day both in red. An attractive entire.
