    British Post Office 1853: Second sheet of entire letter from Otago to Derby endorsed "Paid" at top, prepaid with "2d." in red manuscript, struck with fine "♚  / PAID AT OTAGO - NEW ZEALAND" in red with OTAGO / NEW ZEALAND despatch cds (Jan. 16) in black on reverse. Charged '8' pence due on arrival for incoming ship fee, with London cds in red (July 2) and Derby partial arrival in blue. Edge wear but very rare Gi = £ 1'900.
