    British Post Office 1846: Entire letter from Quebec to New York endorsed "Paid to New York", prepaid with "10d." in red manuscript, most unusually struck with two fine "♚  / PAID AT QUEBEC L.C." strikes in red with double arc QUEBEC / LC despatch cds (Dec. 27) above; with US share "11" (cents) in red manuscript at right. Small stain but a rare usage Gi = £ 160+.
