    Crimean War 1855: 1 d. pink postal stationery envelope used to St. Saviours, Jersey, Channel Islands endorsed "Black Sea Fleet", up-rated with two 1855 1 d. red stars from pl. 10 all cancelled by "O❊O" obliterators in black. The reverse with Jersey arrival cds (Nov 20). Faults incl. corner trimmed and parts missing on reverse, however this is one of only 5 recorded examples of the 1 d. pink envelope used from the Crimean Campaign.rnProvenance: R.
