    Charles Whiting 1847/75c.: Printed in pale blue & brownish-black on Congreve plates, Tax Stamps printed with elaborate scrollwork and central Crown for 6 sk. (2), 9 sk. (2) and 12 sk., the last dated 16 April 1855, later example in same colours for 50 öre, and a further cut out of oval design "Stempel-Papper" printed in black on pale green background. It should be noted that these Tax stamps pre-date Swedish postage stamp by nearly 8 years (7 items).
