    1881: 1 d. lilac, the collection with Die I unused block of four overprinted SPECIMEN, Die II unused example with inverted wmk., Control copies unused (D, H through to W with T and W on individual covers) scarce 'Inverted X' Control (cert. RPSL), range of perfin usages incl. on cards and covers, covers incl. usage on 'Budget Letter Card', cover registered to Russia bearing 10 x 1 d. lilac, 1899 bisected usage on card, Boer War usages, together with three covers bearing Postal Fiscals. A fine lot in need of some tidying up for display.
