    1847/54: Embossed 6 d. dull lilac in a vertical pair with good margins all round, used on 1856 registered cover front to Gloucester with 1855 2 d. blue, plate 5, wmk. Large Crown, perf. 14 in a vertical strip of three paying the registration fee, all tied by '763' numeral obliterators with "Swansea" double arc cds of despatch (June 21) in red below. Ironed file fold well away from the adhesives, a most unusual high inland registered franking.
