1849/1989: Remarkable collection in nine volumes with a multitude of rare issues and high values, beginning with a beautiful 1849 Ceres 10c brown other classics are also present in good number but need to be inspected carefully for quality. The Bordeaux issue includes a number fine examples, 1867 5 fr. Napoleon in well above average condition, 5 fr. Merson in an unused block of four, with full og. as is the 20 fr. albeit only as a single stamp. The first War-Orphans series are only missing the 5 fr., the 1923 philatelic congress is unused. All three miniature sheets are present, the Strassburg sheet is included twice, once in reduced format. The 1927 Air Exhibition is both used and unused and  20 fr. "Pont du Gard" unused with full og. The 1930's better values are too numerous to mention, there are a number of Colonies issues including a small quantity of Morocco, Postage Dues and other back of the book items, as well as some covers. A tremendous collection.
