    Last Day of the Kingdom of Sardinia 1861: 20 c. 'celeste', a fine and fresh adhesive with good to enormous margins including parts of two neighbouring stamps, well embossed, tied by clear "CEVA 16 MAR. 61" cds (Sassone CN = 3 punti), clear information strike alongside, on entire letter directed to Mondovi. Reverse with MONDOVI arrival cds of the same day. An entire despatched one day before the Kingdom of Italy was proclaimed in Torino on March 17, 1861.
