    1854: Entire letter from the French Army during the Occupation of Rome, sent from the Fieldpost to Chavignon, bearing Napoléon imperf. 20 c. blue Type I, a fresh and fine example with fair to large margins, tied by clear mute grill obliterator, perfect despatch "CORPS EXPEDITIONNAIRE D'ITALIE 1e DIVISION 1 OCT. 59" cds alongside. Reverse with ambulant and arrival (Oct. 5) cds's. Fine cover correctly franked at the military concessionary rate, a beauty. Signed Raybaudi; cert. E. Diena (1985).
