    1913: Kangaroo £ 2 black & rose, Sperati Forgery, Type A with the 'Roo's Mouth Open, "used" and cancelled by blurred circular datestamp (signed "Jean de Sperati" in pencil on reverse) with three 1 d. red values from Sperati's stockbook of 'raw material' for creating his forgeries from the genuine watermarked paper. An exceptional and extremely rare assembly.
