    1818 (May 1): Entire letter from Bahia to Lisbon, Portugal endorsed "2a Va" at lower left (and presumably the duplicate letter), carried on the "Conceiçao de Minerva" with "Conceiçao" endorsement at top, struck with straight line "CORREIO DA BA." despatch handstamp in green and rated "80" reis due to pay on arrival. Rare and very fine entire.
