    Chalons 1857/59: 1 d. pale red-brown, 2 d. slate-green and 1860/67 6 d. slate-grey, margins huge to touched in places, used on 1862 cover to London endorsed "via Marseilles", crisply tied by "52" numeral obliterators and by "POST OFFICE / LAUNCESTON / ♚" in red (May 23). Reverse with London arrival cds (July 13).
