    1876/1904: 2 d. orange, perf. 10, a used horizontal strip of three, on 1879 cover to West Virginia, USA endorsed "via California", tied by Adelaide cds's (Sept 5) in black. Underpaid and struck with circular "DUE / 5" in black and USA Postage Due 5 c. brown applied and cancelled in manuscript. Reverse with Adelaide cds and San Francisco transit cds (Oct 8) in red. A most appealing cover.
