    1842: Large cover to Quito with twelve # at edges to denote registration, with manuscript "Certificacion à Ambato" in manuscript alongside "AMBATO / FRANCA" handstamp in red (Harris fig. 7, first year of use). Reverse with docketing of sending "Ambato 11 de Junio, 1842". A rare registered usage.
