    First day usage 1865 (Jan 1): Entire letter from Iesi to Osimo, bearing 1865 (Jan) 'Ferro di cavallo' 20 on 15 c. celeste in Type III, a fresh adhesive with some perforation irregularities, tied by indistinct "IESI MARCHE 1 GEN. 65" despatch cds, information strike alongside. Reverse with "OSIMO 2 GEN 65" arrival cds. An extremely rare usage from the day of issuance and the first day of the new 20 centesimi inland rate. Signed E. Diena Sassone = € 40'000.
