    1891 (Nov): Envelope within Rome, bearing 1866 Vittorio Emanuele Torino printing 2 c. 'rosso mattone' in a horizontal upper left corner marginal strip of five showing variety: imperforate in mixed franking with 1889 Stemma 5 c. 'verde scuro' in a vertical pair, tied by fair barred '206' numeral. Reverse with ROMA arrival (1891, Nov 25) cds. Horizontal file fold well away from the franking, not distracting from this exceptional franking, the largest known multiple of the imperforated variety, correctly paying the 20 centesimi inland rate.
