    1875 (Sept 5): Entire letter from Sondalo to Mesocco, Grisons, Switzerland, bearing 1866 Torino printing 1 c. 'verde oliva' and 2 c. 'rosso mattone' in a horizontal pair combination with 1867 (April) Torino printing 20 c. azzuro, four fresh adhesives, tied by fair '2210' numeral obliterator, matching SONDALO despatch cds alongside. Reverse with Sondrio, Chiavenna and Splügen transit cds's. The entire was underpaid in the newly established UPU tariff and therefore taxed. Cert. E. Diena (1981).
