    1864 (Feb 25): Entire letter from Pianella to Penne, bearing 1863 DLR printing 15 c. 'celeste', a fresh and fine example, tied by pen cross with handwritten "Pianella 25 / 2 - 64" alongside (Sassone PE/TE = 13 punti). Reverse with PENNE arrival cds of the following day. An appealing entire with extremely rare cancellation from this small office opened in 1864. Cert. Sorani (1989).
