    1852 (April): 9 cr. 'viola bruno scurissimo', a single example of the so called 'prugna' and two single adhesives of 4 cr. 'verde azzuro', three fine and fresh single examples with good to large margins all round, tied by two strikes of  'Annullo a rombi' type 2 obliterator. "P.D. FIRENZE 15. NOV. 1852" despatch cds in black, French "TOSC. Pt.-DE-BEAUVOISIN 21 NOV 52" entry cds in red and "PAID 22 NO 1852" transit cds in red alongside, on cover to Edinburgh. Reverse with arrival cds (Nov 23). Reverse with scotch remnants, nevertheless an extremely rare and most interesting cover showing the 17 crazie rate in the tariff of October 1851, sent to Scotland.
