'azzuro vivo', carta di Napoli, position 91 from plate III, a fine and fresh example with fair to large margins, part sheet margin at base, tied by crisp 'ferro di cavallo' handstamp to cover from Catania to Messina, superb wreathed despatch cds (May 27, 1859) alongside. Reverse with Messina arrival datestamp (May 29, 1859). Appealing cover, cert. Colla (2022) Sassone = € 2'000.
