    1859: 10 gr. 'rosa carminio chiaro' from plate II, a fresh and fine adhesive, large to huge margined, tied by superb ANNULLATO 'a svollazo' hanstamp with crisp "GALLIPOLI 5 NOV. 1860" cds in black (Sassone LE = 6 punti) alongside, on cover to Napoli. Reverse with arrival (Nov 9) cds in red. Very attractive cover, the franking very high for a non-registered inland letter, would have paid a weight up to 1¼ ounces, used in the period of the provisional government. Signed A. Diena with colour indication Sassone = € 2'400 + 350.
