    1859: 5 gr. 'carminio scuro' from plate II in combination with 2 gr. 'carminio cupo from plate III, two fresh and fine adhesives with large to huge margins, tied by crisp "TARANTO 30 APR. 1861" despatch cds, on cover directed to Napoli, reverse with arrival (May 2) cds. Paper faults due to horizontal file fold skillfully repaired, the franking of 7 grana paid the letter rate for a weight between 21 and 25 trappasi. Signed Mondolfo; cert. E.
