1850: Carta a mano 45 c. 'azzuro ardesia' type II, a single fresh adhesives with good to large margins all round, a pre-cut in the left margin just mentioned for accuracy, tied by "MANTOVA 24 / 7" cds to 1854 cover directed to Bruxelles. Obverse was struck by "DOPO LA PARTENZA" handstamp in red and oval "BOLLO INSUFFICIENTE" handstamp in violet. Reverse with "ALLEMAGNE EST" railway transit and BRUXELLES arrival cds (July 29). The letter was partially paid until the border of the GAPU, therefore taxed with '3' (décimes) for the second Belgian rayon following the postal treaty of January 1852.Starting bid : 150 CHFHammer price : 1,500 CHF -
