1870: Cover mailed within the postal district of Soissonns, bearing a Bordeaux 10 c. bistre report 2 showing variety: percé en ligne, a fine and fresh example with fair to large margins, tied by fair Gros Chiffres '3420' numeral lozenge, postman's handstamp 'M' and SOISSONS arrival cds (May 21, 71) alongside. Reverse with SOISSONS distribution cds of the next day. Vertical file fold well away from the franking, a rare local franking with this privately done perforation.
