    September letter 1870: Entire letter from Lyon to Argenteuil, bearing Bordeaux 4 c. grey report 2, a good to large margined example in mixed franking with Napoléon laureated 1 c. green bronze and 10 c. bistre type II (2), well perforated examples, tied by Gros Chiffres '2145' numeral lozenge, matching "LYON LA GUILLOTIÈRE 28 SEPT 71" despatch cds alongside. Reverse with ambulant, Paris transit and indistinct arrival cds's. Vertical file fold between the two leftmost adhesives, one backflap toned, nevertheless a rare and appealing September cover combination, signed Calves.
