    1867: Second lettersheet of a Double rate Entire letter from Marseille to Port Louis, Mauritius, endorsed "Via Suez" and bearing Siège 40 c. orange in mixed franking with Cérès 1872 80 c. rose in a horizontal pair, tied by light Gros Chiffres '2240' numeral lozenge, despatch cds (April 10, 75) and framed "P.P." red alongside. Reverse with crisp thimble "MAURITIUS MY 9 75" arrival cds in blue. Lightest file folds just mentioned for accuracy not distracting at all from the attractiveness of this cover, sent to a pretty rare destination. Signed Goebel & von der Weid.
