    1867: Double rate Entire letter from Paris to Santiago de Chile, bearing a mass franking of Napoléon laureated 80 c. rose in a horizontal pair in mixed franking with Cérès 1871 25 c. blue type I in a horizontal strip of four, all four adhesives with cliché errors, all tied by light Étoile de Paris '8' numeral obliterator, "PARIS R. D'AMSTERDAM 17 MARS 72" despatch cds, framed "P.P." and "LONDON PAID 18 MR 72" transit cds, both in red alongside. The entire was endorsed with private handstamps "VOIE DE SOUTHAMPTON" & "VOIE DE PANAMA" in blue and was taxed upon arrival in Chile with '25' (centavos) in red for the inland part of the journey. A fresh and stunning entire, correctly franked with twice 130 c. to the Pacific Coast of South America.
