    1935: Gordon Issue, the set of nine values complete, used on two First Day Covers sent airmail to Addis Abeba, Ethiopia, tied by "Khartoum" cds's (Jan 1, 1935) in black and each backstamped on arrival (Jan 22). The cover bearing the seven values to the 10 pi. with an unusual variety with "By Air Mail" label shwoing erroneous spelling "Mial". Scarce Gi = £ 225 off cover.
