    1917 (Sept 1): Surcharged 2½ pa. on Turkey 10 pa. carmine (old GPO building), perf. 12½, a used example, well centred and lightly cancelled in black. Fine appearance but with small nick at upper right and corner crease but nevertheless a fine example of this rare stamp, with just 270 stamps issued. Signed F.B. Turpin Gi = £ 1'800.
