Colour Changes 1869 (April-Sept): 4 d. yellow and 1 s. indigo, perf. 11-12½, used on 1869 double rate cover to the Duke of Polignac in Paris, cancelled by bold strike of the vertical "A10" obliterator with faint 'St. Vincent' cds (Dec 10) in red alongside. Manuscript '1/3d.' credit in red crayon at left. 'London / Paid' transit (Jan 3, 1870) and circular PD in red with Calais transit cds (Jan 2) also on obverse.
