Recess on White Paper 1867/76: 4 d. deep orange on white paper, perf. 15, a used example on 1869 cover to Philadelphia, USA endorsed 'per Steamer' at top, neatly tied by "A09" obliterator in black with "N.Y. STEAMSHIP / 10" charge marking of arrival (April 26) alongside. Reverse with double arc 'Nevis' despatch cds (March 27), single ring 'St. Thomas' cds (March 28) and Philadelphia arrival in blue.
