    1890 (Sept 3-6): De La Rue Die Proofs (8), stamp size printed in black on white glazed card and affixed to brown card from the DLR day-book, with LEEWARD ISLANDS at top on each, top row with Duty Plates of ½ d., 1 d., 2½ d. and 4 d. with manuscript "Sep 3rd. 60 Leads each die", second row with Duty Plates of 6 d., 7 d., 1 s. and 5 s. with manuscript "Sep 6, 60 Lead each die" and further marked with invoice date in red "Oct 14 90" with the Proofs crossed in same ink.
