    Lithographic Transfer by Waterlow 1853: First Stone 4 c. deep blue, a used example with large margins all round, variety 'Retouched above FOUR CENTS' at base, tied to 1854 local cover from Enterprise to Georgetown endorsed 'per Inland Mail' by double arc DEMERARA datestamp in black (Oct 13) which leaves the retouched area of the stamp entirely clear. Dated internally 'H.C. McNicol, Enterprise 12th October 1854' with double arc "Demerara" datestamp (same day) on reverse in black. Ironed creases away from the fine adhesive, no side flaps but a truly outstanding cover. Cert.
