    Austrian P.O. in Asia Minor, Smyrna 1841 (June 19): Fully prepaid Entire letter from Smyrna to the Ralli company in Trieste, struck on front by single-line SMIRNA handstamp (Tranmer fig. 1), arrival cds (July 4) in red on reverse. An appealing cover, this entire being an early usage of this handstamp, noted by Tranmer from 1841, ex collection Keith Tranmer.
