    1747/1950: Accumulation of several hundred letters, envelopes, cards and other principally postal items covering pre-philately to more modern times. A brief review produced items from the early Italian States as well as the Vatican and Italy postal History, including accounts franked with parcel stamps, postal stationery with railway cachets and an autographed 1940 horse race lottery ticket from "MERANO". Interesting lot for the collector with time and patience.
