Star, rough perf. 14 to 15½, prepared for use but unissued, an unused example of fine colour, small age spot at lower right, large part og. Scarce. Handstamped C.J. He remained with the company until 1922, when he emigrated to the USA, arranging the sale of the Arthur Hind collections - which were a fantastic success even though sold during the Great Depression.
