Recess by Perkins Bacon 1859 (April 23): 2 s. dull blue, wmk. Star, imperforate, a used example shaved at base but with large margins at sides showing portions of adjoining stamps, on piece with magnificent 1 s. 9 d. green with full large margins all round and portion of adjoining stamp at top and 5 d. chestnut with four margins, all of fine fresh colour, lightly cancelled by barred obliterators in black.
