    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1859: 6 d. purple-brown on white paper, wmk. Star, imperforate, a used horizontal pair in a rich shade, ample to large margins all round, neatly cancelled by barred obliterators in black. A scarce and most attractive multiple. Cert. RPSL (1970) Gi = £ 280+.
