    1910: De La Rue photographic Essay for the proposed definitive issue, 1 d. value imperforate in bright red on white glazed card, affixed to thick card (88 x 113 mm.) marked "Dupl." at lower left and dated "June 16th 10" at top right in manuscript ink. The Essay as shown was approved by the Crown Agents on June 10, 1910 to be engraved on copper plates. Illustrated in "The De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 3291.
