    1896/1900: Torea 1 s. deep carmine on white paper, wmk. NZ and Star, perf. 11, a used block of four, marginal from top of sheet, fourth stamp showing "Letter in Beak" variety, cancelled by circular "Mangaia" datestamp (May 12, 1920) in black, also a similarly cancelled block of four of the 6 d. bright mauve but without the Plate flaw. A fine and attractive pair of multiples Gi = £ 300+.
