1892: 10 d. carmine, a single example used on 1893 registered cover to Cardiff tied by circular "Cook Islands / P.O. / Rarotonga" in violet, "Rarotonga" cds (June 7) and manuscript 'R' of registration and "Government of The Cook Islands" cachet below alongside. Auckland registered transt in black (June 16) and framed red London datestamp (July 19) on obverse and Cardiff arrival on reverse.
