1863/64: Eagle 2 r. green, an unusually superb large margined example, used on 1865 cover from La Guaira to Bordeaux, endorsed "p. Creole" (a non Contract Steamer, 'bâtiments de commerce') tied by fine "CORREOS / LA GUAIRA" handstamp in blue. Struck below adhesive with circular entry marking "OUTRE-MER / PAUILLAC" in red (May 10) and manuscript '12' décimes to pay. Bordeaux arrival cds on reverse.
