    Antilles 1869: USA 15 c. brown & blue, Type I, a fine example with vignette misplaced to right, tied by cork handstamp in black to 1870 entire letter from Havana (Jan 29) to Paris via New York (Feb 5) with "E.E. ROMAY & CO / 156 FRONT ST. NEW YORK" Forwarding Agent cachet in blue on reverse (Feb 5). Carried on French Steamer "Pereire" with octagonal 'ETATS-UNIS / PAQ. FR. H No. 1' in red (Salles fig. 1713). Charged with handstruck due '8' décimes in black on arrival (Feb 17 at Le Havre). A rare and fine entire. Cert.
