    1878: Rouletted 5 c. dull lake, a vertical pair used on 1884 cover to Bordeaux endorsed "via Magellanes"  tied by "ILLAPEL /CHILE" cds (March 1) with unframed "T" in black adjacent. Taxed on arrival (a journey time of nearly two months) with manuscript '50' in pencil and franked by 1881 Postage Due 20 c., black and 40 c. black horizontal pair for the deficiency (Maury T17+T19). Cover with closed tears but unusual.
