    1867/68: Rivadavia 5 c. vermilion, a single example used on 1875 cover to Bordeaux tied by Buenos Ayres cds (Feb 15) in black; carried by French Packet "Rio Grande" with France 1871/75 25 c. blue, two singles and a horizontal pair, tied by Anchor lozenges with octagonal "BUENOS AYRES / PAQ. FR. J No. 6" datestamp (Feb 26) in black (Salles fig. 1072). The cover found to be double weight and struck with framed AFFRANCHISEMENT / INSUFFISANT in red and taxed (double rate = 2 fr. 40 c. less 1 fr.) with '14' décimes due in manuscript with 'PD' deleted.
