    1869: 50 bani pale blue & red and 25 b. orange & blue, fine large margined examples used on 1869 cover to Paris, France tied by BUCURESTI / SERA datestamp (30/5) in black (Kiriac fig. 442). The cover with some opening tears at top and both stamps showing significant plate flaws - the 25 bani with a dash of orange in the margin at upper right and the 50 b. with clear evidence of re-touching behind King Carol's head in the vignette. Strasbourg entry mark in blue at right (June 5). A rare and appealing franking. Cert. Heimbüchler (2014).rnrnProvenance: Collection E. J.
