Catalogue# : 14+17Norddeutscher Postbezirk 1871 (Feb 6): Entire letter from Waldenburg, Silesia to Paris, bearing 1869 ½ gr. orange and 2 gr. blue (2) with good perfs, tied by WALDENBURG despatch cds in black. Reverse with "PARIS POSTE RESTANTE 10 FEVR 71" arrival cds. Interesting cover which made its journey with the German Imperial and Fieldpost to the exchange P.O. in Versailles on its way to Paris. Although correctly franked with 4½ gr. but without a PD handstamp, it was taxed in Paris with '2' décimes.Starting bid : 150 CHFHammer price : not sold -
