    Preussen 1854 (May 24): Stationery envelope 3 sgr. yellow from Minden to Paris, handwritten note "insuffisient", struck aside the indicium with MINDEN despatch cds in black on front, framed "PR.3R." (Prusse 3e Rayon, vdL 2285, struck in Aachen) postal treaty handstamp as well as French "PRUSSE 26 MAI 54 VALnes" entry cds, both in red. The reverse with PARIS arrival (May 26) cds. Horizontal file fold well away from the indicium, a fresh envelope taxed with '7' décimes upon arrival.rnNote: Correctly taxed with 70 centimes for a letter from the third Prussian rayon in the July 1853 tariff.
